coming home

I made this blog over 6 years ago. I was in college, I was looking for a way to write and keep track of my life. A few years after I stopped writing on it, I deleted much of my writing because of some life changes - lost friendships and some confusion about my future.

But here we are, a few years later and a few years (perhaps) wiser. And I'm willing to try again. Much has changed - I'm finishing my final year of graduate school, working full time, loving my sweet, handsome guy. But some remains the same - I'm still a happy-go-lucky girl looking to not just survive, but thrive. I'm happier than I've ever been. I've found a career that I love (more on that in a bit), a guy that I love, and a path in life. That's not to say I don't have my ups and down - who doesn't in their 20s - but I try to think of it as a beautiful journey.

 Could we look any happier? This is my love, Cam, and I at a friend's recent wedding. We went for a morning walk on the beach and it was one of those picture-perfect days that ended.
